Hi we want to create lan over the phone
we have 2 pcs and each of them has a dl-304 router

we want to create lan through phone dialing

we have configured both dl-304 with dial in and dial out accounts

Pc1: branch this is the pc which is qoing to connect to our office lan
Pc2: head is the pc connected in our office lan
Both Pcs are on dl-304 in different isdn phonelines and we will use them only for connecting this 2 pcs (not for internet use)

we just want to dial from Pc1 to Pc2 so that we can share or to print documents directly in our office and to connect into our lan by dailing to Pc2 ...
And we had not found a way to create dial on demand on our dl-304
How can we trigger the dial options in dl-304 from windows xp?
Please Help!!!!! :(

Hi, to select options in the dl-304, this is not aproblem of XP, this is a question of your firmware.

So, in witch country you are using the router? What is your current firmware?

our firmware is 2.1 and we are located in greece

Probaply, the new firmware 2.2 will solve your problem, but first wait if one of our specialists for the 304 will answer!

our setup settings are the same as the settings found in the manual of DI-LINK in the lan to lan setup SECTION...

sould we create a dial up connection from windows to call
to the other pc?

No, because the DI-304 ist dialing the ISDN-WAN-Conncention with one or both B-Channels.

What you need is a working ISDN-Connection to your telefon-provider.

You need to make the settings in the DI-304.

you mentioned that the DI-304 ist dialing the ISDN-WAN-Conncention with one or both B-Channels.

how can we trigger the dialing isdn-wan ?
We need a trigger apllication? has this to do with the Ta-Server apllication ?
we want to call on the other pc on demand when we need it ..
is there any tutorial or manual or a section in the forums with steps for how to control / establish the isdn-wan connection?
