Hello everyone!
Sorry for english, but I don't think I can explain my problem with my limited knowledge of german. You can, however, answer in german, I'll understand.
So, here's the problem:
I have the DI-624+. Auto-reconnect is enabled.
After receiveing a PADT TAG from my ISP (after being online for 24hrs), the router disconnects (as it should), but it does not reconnect immediately. It does however reconnect successfully after one of my PCs tries to open a connection to the internet.
Is there any way to make the router reconnect immediately after a disconnect?
I have a web server, which of course cannot be reached from the outside after the line is disconnected. |

There are two ways:
1. Enable auto-reconnect
2. Run a cron job that pings one of your ISP's servers every 5 minutes or so. |

I already have auto-reconnect enabled, but it does not reconnect immediately. Is it supposed to?
I have been planning to use ping or some other way of forcing the router to reconnect, but I consider this a workaround and would like the router to reconnect by itself.
thanks, anyway! |
